Golden Girls and 227

Is it just me, or are these almost the same show?

Ok, GG's were older, white ladies and 277 were middle aged to older black ladies, but lets just check this out:

Dorothy and Mary: Stern, bossy, somewhat domineering. Intelligent, kind hearted, opinionated. Strong characters, head of the household.

 Blanche and Sandra: Man crazy sluts. Crazy Southern accent and "Hi Maaaary!' Youngest of the group, most stylish. Selfish and stubborn, but will eventually come around.

 Rose and Rose: The nice ones. Positive, giving spirits, kind. Easy going, somewhat old fashioned. Both named "Rose".

 Sophia and Pearl: Old.

Also, they all live together. The GG's shared a house, 227 shared a building (and spent a hell of a lot of time on the stoop, the laundry room and Mary's appartment).

Both Dorothy and Mary have tall husbands-but that's the only similarity between Stan and Lester.
