You know what they say: you can lead a herring to water, but you have to walk really fast or he'll die.~Rose Nylund

Rose is hot in leather
This lovely little Rose pin up comes from Ed Mironiuk Kinky and Kutie PinUps
Rose looks like some sort of Nazi Dominatrix, which would have been an interesting twist ending to the series. For the longest time I thought that was a swastika on her arm, but on closer inspection it seems to be the infinity symbol. Fitting, since White is apparently never going to die.

5 Little Facts-Betty White
- Her full name is Betty Marion White, not Elizabeth. She was born in Oak Park, Illinois (not St. Olaf), USA on January 17 1922.
- Betty has had 3 husbands, Frederick R. (Dick) Barker (9 July 1945 - December 1945) (divorced), Lane Allan (8 November 1947 - 1949) (divorced), and Allen Ludden (14 June 1963 - 9 June 1981) (his death). She has never had children.
- Moved to Los Angeles when she was only two years old.
- Received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1988. The star is next to her late husband, Allen Ludden's star.
- At 88 and a half, she was the oldest person to ever host "Saturday Night Live" in 2010.

Golden Signatures
Just in case you want to forge a Doctors note or a mortgage application...
Rue might not be able to spell her own name
Where the hell are Sophia's glasses? Who picked this picture?
Bea is either wearing a nightgown or bathrobe whilst reading porn. Perfectly normal.
"To Molly- Many thanks- Betty White + Rambo"? "Panda"? "Pants"?
Update: March 25/14
After reading Betty White's If You Ask Me (But You Probably Won't) I have learned it was Panda.

Waxy White
So, Betty finally got herself hot waxed. It's only been like 90 years!
Straight from madametussauds.com:
Madame Tussauds Hollywood and Betty White unveiled the first ever Betty White wax figure on June 4th at the Madame Tussauds Hollywood attraction.
The unveiling of the Betty White wax figure made history, as she is the oldest celebrity to sit for Madame Tussauds artists.
Truly the original “America's Sweetheart,” Madame Tussauds is thrilled to celebrate the actress’ accomplishments in film, television and influence in pop culture, timed to her 90th birthday and her recent comedy smash “Hot in Cleveland” on TV Land and "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" on NBC.
Another iconic Hollywood notable, Pink’s Hot Dogs, served an exclusive hot dog in Betty's honor. Dubbed the "Naked Dog" because that’s the only way Betty takes her hot dogs- plain and simple!
Betty’s figure will join the ranks of Hollywood legends including Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart, as well as Hollywood’s new guard of icons like Lady Gaga, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, and Will Smith.
"I want to thank Madame Tussauds Hollywood for taking their sweet time in making my wax figure,” said White. “Would it have killed them to do this 50 years ago before gravity took over?,” she quipped.
“Seriously though, it will be an honor to stand among the greats like George Burns and Lucille Ball.”
Here's my beef with this...why did they wait? She should have been immortalized as Rose. And they lost their chances to get Dorothy, Blanche and Sophia! Bad choice there, Madame (OK, so maybe it was Bea, but I can't stay mad at her). I won't go into the fact that she looks a bit off, and they didn't old lady-up her hands. Can't expect 100% perfection.
And her cute little interview:
The less creepy looking one is the real Betty...still confused?

Betty Graffiti
Rose has been out tagging the town apparently.
Personally, I don't have a huge issue with graffiti, but a big Betty head really would classen-up so many subway tunnels, back alleys and park benches.

5 Little Facts
- In Episode 8 of Season 1 (The Break In), Rose says that her hometown is Little Falls. In all the episodes after that, she says that her hometown is St. Olaf.
- Betty played Rose Nylund on four different shows: Empty Nest, Nurses, The Golden Girls and The Golden Palace.
- Betty White was the oldest of the four main actresses. Ironically, with the death of Rue McClanahan, she became the last surviving member of the cast.
- Throughout the series, there are many jokes made by the girls at Rose regarding her natural hair colour. Betty is in fact a natural brunette and dyes her hair Blonde.
- Betty admits to having plastic surgery before The Golden Girls, even though the program was about growing old and not having a problem with it.

Betty White cake on Cake Boss
Ah, the Betty White cake. Perfect for every occasion!
Actually, it's really only perfect for a few occasions, such as a fan club meeting, gay dudes birthday or roasting Betty White (not literally! She's already a cake, how much more of her do you want?).
This time it was option c. - the roast. Made by Cake Boss star Buddy Valastro, the cake is 5'2" and made of vanilla cake with buttercream and a chocolate frosting. That thing in her hand (that I thought was a purse) is actually a silver fox, also edible, was added because of Betty's long time animal rightsviews and also to go with the roasts theme (though I think Betty might be a golden fox?).

Rose, you dirrrty girl!
I was slightly shocked when I found these, but once it wore off I have to say these are actually pretty cute. I don't know if they've been confirmed as actually Betty, but the first one sure does look like her. I love the gloves and ear muffs, those will keep her nice and warm!
I'm surprised at how, um, tiny her breasts look. As a GG she was a busty lady. Also the last picture is just adorable.

Betty White on "Community"
A good show in its own right, the addition of Betty just making it all the more awesome. Too bad she wont be a recurring character though.

Our favourite old ladies when they were youngsters
Bea Arthur: looking serious as ever, but to my surprise she was actually a quite lovely looking young lady. Bea has always reminded me of my Oma, and even in this picture the resemblance is striking.
Rue McClanahan: Yep. Sexy. That apple looks rotten though...
Betty White:She looked old even when she was young, didn't she?
